Job Description:

Your tasks:

• Dissertation in the field of molecular biology on the formation, function and regulation of pancreatic beta cells in zebrafish as part of a doctoral thesis
• Independent research on genetic and optogenetic zebrafish models to elucidate the molecular and physiological regulatory mechanisms of glucose homeostasis
• Independent teaching
• Training and further education
• Administrative tasks

Your profile

• Completed relevant master's, master's or diploma degree programme
• Please enclose written reflections on your dissertation project with your application (max. 5 pages)
• Ability to work in a team Communication skills Ability to work independently

The minimum gross salary (stipulated by collective agreement) for 20 hours per week amounts to € 1.857 per month (14 times)*. The salary will be increased to € 2.785 for 30 hours per week once the dissertation agreement has been signed and sent to the Personnel Department. The salary will be higher if you have worked in a similar position before.
