University Assistant (postdoc) (substitute employee)
Job Description:
Main duties
- Independent research with a focus on Disability Studies and Inclusive Education (including applications and acquisition of third-party funding, publication of journal articles and in anthologies)
- Independent organisation of courses and holding of examinations
- Participation in the research, teaching and examination activities of the Teaching and Research Unit Disability Studies and Inclusive Education
- Supervision of Bachelor's and Master's theses (in the area of the dissertation subject
- Collaboration in organizational and administrative tasks of the Teaching and Research Unit Disability Studies and Inclusive Pedagogy as well as the Institute of Educational Science
Academic qualifications
- Diploma/master's degree in education sciences or a related discipline; relevant doctorate
- Research in Educational Science with a focus on diversity, inclusion, and participation
- Well-grounded knowledge in qualitative methodology and transdisciplinary research
- Knowledge of barrier-free environments and disadvantage-compensating instruments in academic teaching; proven teaching experience at the university level
- Knowledge of international human rights politics, disability, and gender rights
- Experience with aspects of the acquisition of third-party external funding as well as mobility experience abroad.
- Relevant professional and/or postdoc experience.
- Publications beyond the doctoral dissertation in international peer-reviewed journals and other such professional academic publications.
- German language skills: C1, English language skills: B2; discipline-relevant IT skills and knowledge
- strong sense of responsibility, independence, and ability to work in a team; good communication skills.
