Job Description:

Your tasks:

• Own research as well as in a team in the field of design, building construction and technology with a focus on post-digitality and transdisciplinarity
• Independent organisation of courses and holding of examinations
• Acquisition, supervision and management of third-party funded projects and other activities, collaboration on ongoing research projects and associated publications and exhibitions
• Training and further education through participation in conferences, congresses and specialised training courses
• Participation in administrative tasks of the working group, organisation of exhibitions, public relations work

Your profile

• Completed relevant doctoral or PhD studies in architecture
• Professional aptitude and ability for scientific work and its creative realisation; interest in transdisciplinary research topics
• Knowledge of contemporary architectural discourses, especially in the field of post-digital theory and practice, cultural production and hybrid technologies/processes
• demonstrable experience in research, third-party funding management, application, teaching, university administration and building design practice in the above-mentioned areas
• Strong sensitivity for design and creation
• Very good knowledge of German and English
• Commitment, resilience, teamwork and communication skills
• high social competence and sense of responsibility as well as pedagogical qualities and enjoyment of imparting knowledge
