University Assistant (PhD position)

Start date/duration:

Administrative unit:

  • Department of Systematic Theology

Extent of employment:

  • 30 hours per week

Job Description:

Your tasks:

  • Dissertation in the field of dogmatics, fundamental or moral theology
  • Collaborative and independent research in the above-mentioned field
  • Administrative tasks in the organisation and assistance in the design of the doctoral programme Catholic Theology in a Globalised World
  • Collaboration in the research focus Cultural Encounters Cultural Conflicts
  • Teaching as required

Your profile:

  • Completed relevant Master's, Magister or Diplom degree; experience with research projects in philosophy and theology
  • Experience with administrative activities in the context of research and student supervision
  • Interest in questions of systematic theology; knowledge of philosophy
  • Very good command of German, good knowledge of English
  • Publication experience (desirable)
  • Ability to work in a team, reliability
