University Assistant (postdoc)

Job Description:

Your tasks:

• Independent research activities in the field of ultracold quantum matter
• Independent organisation of courses and holding of examinations
• Supervision of students incl. Supervision of bachelor theses
• Participation in organisational and administrative tasks as well as evaluation measures

Your profile:

• Completed degree in physics, doctorate in experimental physics
• Experience in the field of ultracold quantum gases, in particular quantum gas mixtures and molecular quantum gases
• Set-up of ultracold atom experiments, including in-depth knowledge of laser cooling and atom trap quantum gases
• excellent publications
• Ability for good scientific writing and high-quality publishing
• ability to work in a team
• problem solving skills

The minimum gross salary (stipulated by collective agreement) for this position amounts to € 4.933 per month (14 times)^*.
