IT Security Engineer / DevOps

Job Description:

Your tasks:

• Planning, development and support of systems in the area of observability and security
• System integration and consulting for the implementation of security and obervability for servers
• Collaboration in projects and the development of processes and guidelines
• Security audits

Your profile:

• Completed diploma or master's degree or equivalent qualification (e.g. Specialised A-Level-Diploma with specialist knowledge or relevant professional experience).
• Sound knowledge and practical experience in the administration of Linux systems
• Desirable: good knowledge in the areas of observability and security of systems or networks
• Desirable: knowledge in the area of agile system and application deployment (DevOps, GitOps and Kubernetes environments)
• Strong teamwork and communication skills; independent and structured working style with a high willingness to learn
• Willingness to familiarise yourself with new areas of responsibility and technologies
• High reliability; customer and service orientation
• Very good knowledge of English
• desirable: good knowledge of German

For this position in job group IVa, a minimum gross salary of € 3.390 per month (14 times)^* is stipulated in the collective agreement. Your actual starting salary will depend on your previous experience and will increase over the course of your employment.
