Job Description:

Your tasks:

• Independently conducted courses in the field of landscape architecture (8 semester hours per week)
• Participation in research activities in the field of synthetic landscapes
• Carrying out organisational and administrative tasks according to the requirements of the department

Your profile:

• Completed subject-relevant Master's, Magister or Diplom degree programme
• Awareness about the topic and research in the Synthetic Landscape Lab. Ability to design and deliver research-led teaching in contemporary landscape architecture, with a focus on synthetic landscapes and the impact of biotechnology, artificial intelligence and the influence of complex systems theories on architecture and urban design
• In-depth knowledge of the international ecological discourse in landscape architecture
• Expertise in dealing with architecturally relevant media and knowledge of bio-laboratory processes and nature-based solutions for landscape architecture
• Advanced knowledge of digital design and experience with experimental research and design innovation
• Good written and spoken German and English language skills are an advantage
• The candidate will define and manage his/her tasks at the University in coordination with the Professor of Landscape Architecture
• Creativity and innovative thinking will be essential. Strong communication and teamwork skills must be developed with the Landscape Architecture core team

For this position, a minimum gross salary of € 1.857 per month (14 times)^*. Is stipulated in the collective agreement. Your actual starting salary will depend on your previous experience and will increase over the course of your employment.
