Your tasks:

• FZ Innovative Building Materials, Building Methods and Constructions
• Writing a dissertation (ideally a cumulative dissertation) in the field of experimental characterisation, modelling and/or numerical simulation of innovative/biobased materials and building materials
• Writing scientific publications as part of the dissertation
• Organising courses
• Co-/supervision of student research projects
• Participation in courses and research projects of the department
• Participation in conferences and congresses, advanced training courses
• Administrative work at the department
• An increase to 40 hours/week via third-party funded projects is being sought

Your profile

• Relevant degree / MSc in civil engineering, mechatronics, materials science, technical physics, technical chemistry, mechanical engineering, environmental engineering or raw materials engineering
• Knowledge in the field of experimental characterisation, modelling and/or numerical simulation of materials and construction materials desired
• Knowledge of English
• Please enclose written reflections on your dissertation project with your application (max. 5 pages)
• Ability to work in a team
• Leadership skills in dealing with study assistants and in the supervision of BSc theses
