Your tasks:
- With its four institutes, the Faculty of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences brings together expertise ranging from the Earth's interior to the high atmosphere and encompassing, among other things, the interactions between the environment, society and technology. A central focus of the work of many of the faculty's research groups is on mountains in all their manifestations, with a particular emphasis on the Alpine region.
- One of the Faculty's declared aims is to become more open to the outside world. For this reason, the Earth Science Show Collection is to be expanded into a GeoClimateLab Tirol as an established instrument, particularly for children and young people of school age, which will incorporate topics from the geosciences as well as atmospheric and cryospheric sciences. We are looking for a committed employee for this project.
- We are looking for a long-term position. Your tasks will include
- Main responsibility for the concept development and reorganisation of the Earth Science Display Collection into a faculty facility for public relations/science communication ("GeoClimateLabTirol")
- Independent coordination of the planning, coordination and organisation of workshops in the field of earth and atmospheric sciences for various target groups such as pupils, teachers, etc.
- Conceptualisation, design and co-supervision of the website and promotion of the offer
Your profile:
- Completed Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
- Experience in the organisation and implementation of projects
- Knowledge in the design and maintenance of websites and in the use of content management systems
- Advantageous: Experience in didactics, public relations and/or science communication
- Very good knowledge of German and English
- Structured and independent working style
- Very good communication and teamwork skills

For this position in job group IIIb, a minimum gross salary of € 1.536 per month (14 times)* is stipulated in the collective agreement. Your actual starting salary will depend on your previous experience and will increase over the course of your employment.
