University Assistant (postdoc)

Job Description:

Your tasks:

  • Independent research activities in the field of information security, digital forensics and privacy
  • Teaching
  • Supervision of students incl. Supervision of bachelor theses
  • Collaboration on organisational and administrative tasks as well as evaluation measures

Your profile:

  • Completed relevant doctoral or PhD degree programme
  • Excellent knowledge in selected areas of security, digital forensics and privacy
  • Strong publication record
  • Proven teaching competence
  • Creativity and strong execution skills
  • Willingness to familiarise yourself with new complex topics and tools
  • Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English
  • Proven experience in software development (especially open source) is an advantage
  • Good knowledge of German is an advantage
  • Leadership and communication skills
  • Enthusiasm for university research
  • Reliability
  • High team spirit
