University Assistant (PhD position)

Job Description:

Your tasks:

• Information Systems
• Independent research in the field of business informatics
• Independent teaching
• Team research
• Training and further education
• Administrative tasks

Your profile:

• Completed relevant Master's, Magister or Diplom degree, preferably in business administration, business informatics or computer science
• Basic knowledge of empirical research
• Strong interest in the subject areas: Interaction between humans and artificial intelligence as well as human-centred design of information systems (in particular the application of psychological theories to design of information systems, e.g. To avoid cognitive errors in online decision-making situations and online manipulation)
• Knowledge of and interest in empirical research methods (in particular experiments, questionnaires)
• Previous experience with eye-tracking is not necessary, but willingness to familiarise yourself with it is required
• Knowledge of statistics and experience with SPSS and R is desirable
• Very good language skills (German and English)
• An intention to pursue a PhD is expected
• Please enclose a written reflections on your dissertation project with your application (max. 2 pages)
• Ability to work in a team, communication skills
