Job Description:

Your tasks:

• Independent research activities in the field of power electronics
• Independent organisation of courses and examinations
• Supervision of students incl. Supervision of bachelor theses
• Collaboration in organisational and administrative tasks as well as evaluation measures
• Continuing education

Your profile:

• Doctorate (PhD) in electrical engineering specialising in power electronics or electrical drive systems.
• Experience in the design of power electronic systems, in the control of power electronic systems and in carrying out measurements on electrical drive systems in power electronics as well as in linking these measurements with theoretical models.
• Sound knowledge in the use of measuring instruments such as oscilloscopes and power analysers.
• Experience in the implementation of controls for power electronic systems in C code and VHDL.
• International research experience at leading research institutions is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a team and to support and promote the team
• Analytical and critical thinking skills for problem solving
• Experience in international exchange
