Job Description:

Your tasks:

• Independent research in the field of media linguistics
• Independent organisation of courses and examinations
• Supervision of students
• Participation in organisational and administrative tasks of the institute as well as in evaluation measures
• Continuing education

Your profile:

• Completed relevant doctoral or PhD programme
• Research focus in the analysis of linguistic and multimodal media communication (e.g. Text-image communication, videos) in a synchronous or diachronic perspective as well as a demonstrable interest in applied research and science communication are desirable.
• Ability to work in a team, independence, initiative and high communicative competence
• Application documents to be submitted: Letter of motivation, CV (incl. List of own publications, lectures, courses), outline of planned research projects (max. 2 pages, excl. References), degree certificates, dissertation or 1-2 meaningful essay publications
