Your tasks:

• Independent realisation of research work in the fields of human geography, especially economic geography
• Participation in the fulfilment of research tasks of the organisational unit
• Independent organisation and delivery of courses and examinations in the field of human geography, in particular the specialisation in spatial development and regional research
• Supervision of human geography students, including supervision of Bachelor's and Master's theses and dissertations
• Participation in organisational and administrative tasks as well as evaluation measures

Your profile:

• Completed doctorate or PhD studies in human geography or related subjects
• Experience in independent teaching, including at Master's level, and proof of a teaching certificate
• Broad knowledge of social science methods
• Proof of publications in relevant international journals
• Experience in successfully acquiring third-party funding
• International academic experience
• Very high motivation
• Ability to work in a team and willingness to communicate desired
