University Assistant (postdoc)

Job Description:

Your tasks:

• Independent research in the field of physics-based simulation, computer graphics, virtual/augmented reality, and/or computer haptics
• Independent organisation of courses and holding of examinations
• Supervision of students incl. Supervision of bachelor theses
• Participation in organisational and administrative tasks as well as evaluation measures

Your profile:

• Relevant doctoral degree in computer science or related disciplines
• excellent knowledge in the areas of the research group, including interactive computer graphics, simulation, virtual/augmented reality, and/or computer haptics
• proven publication experience
• proven teaching expertise
• Experience with research projects
• creative problem solving skills
• excellent written and spoken English skills
• leadership skills in dealing with student employees and/or project staff
• Communication skills in the supervision of students
• ability to work in a team
