Job Description:

Your tasks:

• Supervision of a zebrafish aquatics unit, management of the animal colonies
• Organisation and implementation of relevant work processes, support in the laboratory area and laboratory organisation
• Assistance with ongoing research projects and involvement in the development and optimisation of methodological processes
• Assistance with enrolment and student support

Your profile:

• A-Level-Diploma or equivalent qualification
• Degree in biology or comparable qualification; FELASA certification for working with vertebrate model systems (zebrafish)
• Previous experience with scientific work on zebrafish, several years of experience in laboratory and project assistance
• Knowledge of molecular biological and genetic methods, fluency in written and spoken English
• High organisational skills, ability to work independently
• Commitment and ability to work in a team
• Willingness to undergo specialised further training
