Your tasks:

• Formal cataloguing and metadata management of university publications
• Management of university publications
• Conception and realisation of training courses
• Retro-cataloguing and projects

Your profile:

• A-Level-Diploma or equivalent qualification required
• Good knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, required; very good knowledge of written and spoken German (level C2) required. Desirable: University course in "Library and Information Studies" or comparable training or relevant professional experience; knowledge of the ALMA library system and the regulations and formats for the formal cataloguing of media (e.g. RDA, MARC21) applicable in the Austrian Library Network is an advantage
• Willingness and ability to communicate in order to carry out training measures, motivation for further training. Accurate, careful and results-orientated work; interest in current professional and technological developments in the library sector; willingness to familiarise yourself with new fields of activity
