Job Description:
University Assistant (Postdoc), Department of Physical Chemistry, University of Innsbruck (Austria)
Join the Surface Chemistry group as a postdoctoral researcher and contribute to groundbreaking research on unraveling the mysteries of excitonic phenomena within organic frameworks, with the ultimate goal of advancing photoenergy conversion efficiency in these materials.
Description:
Required qualifications:
- Completed doctoral or PhD studies in physics, chemistry or a related field
- Experience with low-temperature scanning tunneling microscopy and atomic force microscopy (LT-STM/AFM), as well as in the field of surface physics
- Experience in performing measurements for the structural and spectroscopic characterization of 2D materials and molecular systems on surfaces
- Experience in writing relevant scientific publications
- Proven international visibility through contributions at scientific conferences
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team
- Basic programming skills (e.g. Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW, ...).
- Very good written and spoken English
