University Assistant (postdoc)

Job Description:

Your tasks:

• Independent research activities in the field of software engineering with a focus on programming education
• Independent organisation of courses and holding of examinations
• Supervision of students incl. (co-)supervision of bachelor theses
• Contribution to organisational and administrative tasks as well as evaluation measures

Your profile:

• completed relevant doctoral or PhD programme
• good knowledge in the field of software engineering, programming and programming education
• proven publication experience
• proven teaching skills
• creative problem-solving skills
• very good written and spoken English
• very good German language skills
• leadership skills in dealing with student assistants and/or project staff
• communication skills in supervising students
• teamwork skills
