• 20 hours per week; will be increased to 30 hours per week once the dissertation agreement has been signed

Job Description:

Your tasks:

• Dissertation in the field of media linguistics
• Independent research in the field
• Independent teaching
• Collaboration in research and teaching
• Training and further education
• Administrative tasks

Your profile:

• Completed subject-relevant Master's, Diplom, Magister or teaching degree (preferably German Studies and/or Media Studies, but in any case with a focus on media linguistics); please provide evidence of your studies with relevant certificates (degree certificate and grade record) and enclose your Master's thesis or a seminar paper as a text sample
• Interest in writing a dissertation in the field of media linguistics: Please enclose written reflections on a dissertation project (max. 5 pages) with your application
• Very good IT skills
• Desired: practical media skills and interest in applied research
• Ability to work in a team, independence, initiative and high communication skills

The minimum gross salary (stipulated by collective agreement) for 20 hours per week amounts to € 1.789 per month (14 times)*. The salary will be increased to € 2.683 for 30 hours per week once the dissertation agreement has been signed and sent to the Personnel Department. The salary will be higher if you have worked in a similar position before.
