JOB TITLE

Internship: Communication, Social Media & PR

REPORTS TO

Chief Operations Officer

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITY

Coordination and execution of PR activities, community and content management for social media channels and event management.

KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

·         Conception and editing of press send outs

·         Organisation of press clippings

·         Coordination of PR activities (esp. media partnerships) with PR agencies

·         Creation of advertorial material

·         Establishing relationships with bloggers

·         Social Media monitoring

·         Online Community and Content Management

·         Event management and coordination with Event Agency

KEY RESULTS

·         Press send outs are prepared on time

·         Press activities are well organised and executed

·         Up-to-date press clipping overview

·         Positive relationships with PR agencies and bloggers

·         Up-to-date  Social Media Report

·         Engaging online community management

CONSULTS WITH

·         Chief Executive Officer

·         Chief Operations Officer

·         External PR & Online Agencies

·         Bloggers and opinion leaders

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

·         Full-time

·         1 month probation period

·         2 months limited contract (transformed to an undated contract)

·         Payment according to wage agreement; customary overpay related to qualification and experience

·         Earliest date of entry: at any moment

·         Latest date of exit: end of February 2013

QUALIFICATIONS

·Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, economics, business informatics

·1 year’s work experience in a relevant position communication management and PR

·Profound understanding of Social Media

·Exceptional writing skills

·Well-organised and self-motivated

·High degree of creativity

·Fundamental understanding of marketing and business processes

·Language: German, fluent or native English
