Your tasks:

• Laboratory operations: Independent performance of molecular biology experiments including subsequent data evaluation (PCR and qRT-PCR, cloning, preparation of samples for next generation sequencing, etc.); including subsequent data evaluation (e.g. Analysis of quantitative PCR results, genotyping based on electropherograms); material flow coordination; sterile supply and disposal, ordering
• Collaboration in laboratory organism breeding (Drosophila, Black Soldier Fly)

Your profile:

• Completed training as a technical assistant (BMA or equivalent), solid knowledge of basic molecular biology techniques (DNA extraction, PCR); basic microbiological knowledge; IT skills (MS Office, web-based databases, simple image processing); good English
• Team and organisational skills
