University Assistant (PhD position)

Job Description:

Your tasks:

• Personality research at the intersection of personality, emotion and/or music psychology
• Independent research in the field of personality psychology, differential psychology & diagnostics
• Independent teaching
• Participation in the assessment of students incl. (co-)supervision of bachelor theses
• Training and further education
• Administrative tasks

Your profile

• Completion of a relevant Master's, Magister or Diplom degree programme
• Knowledge in the field of personality research, differential psychology and relevant methods
• Interest in topics at the intersection of personality, emotion and music
• Experience in the use of statistical data processing programmes (R, MPLUS)
• Previous knowledge of statistical modelling and analysis of research data (e.g. Confirmatory factor analysis, latent class analysis)
• Interest in experimental psychological studies
• Experience with physiological data collection and analysis
• Leadership skills in dealing with students
• Ability to work in a team
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Independence and personal responsibility
